Hi Everyone.

I am new to JSF. I am using Core JSF to study. I was wondering how i could use sessions and cookies with JSF. I mean do i have to use servlets or JSTL? I could not find nothing in the book about cookies and sessions.

In my understanding JSF is used so that we do not have to use JSP/Servlets/JSTL. am i wrong?
