Hi,
I working in JSP files and running these files in tomcat server.
In my system IIS and tomcat's are running.

I need a configuration in tomcat server.
that is, i'm working in the URL is http://localhost:8080/portal_name

and i want to run http://localhost/portal_name in this format.

In my system IIS server and tomcat server also running.

so, i need a change of the tomcat server configuration.

please help me.

They cannot *both* run on port 80, so what you are wanting will probably require changes to IIS also, or adding *another* system that knows which way (to IIS or to Tomcat) to send which request based on the URL. I cannot help at all on IIS, never having used it.

Tomcat, on the other hand, listens on whichever port is in its (tomcat_install_dir)confserver.xml file. Search that file for "8080", which should be in a Connector element, if memory serves. Note that when Tomcat and Apache HTTPD are both running together, that apache it typically configured to send requests to tomcat through AJP to tomcat, which typically listens on port 8009 (or something); in this setup, tomcat still does *not* listen on port 80, since apache must have that port.
