Is There be a time limit within which three invalid passwords attempts should happenÂ….Say if I do two invalid attempts within 30 seconds and the third one after 1 min, will this alarm still trigger?

probably depends on the ftp server implementation. hopefully it's a good one that will indeed be smart about things like that.
