What design strategy to apply while using AJAX

I have following options:


1. Writing all the client side code by myself.


2. Using libraries like Dojo tool kit


3. Using GWT


Could anyone please let me know the best possible case.


My team knows javascript(not very good) and java and stuts(good) and I am developing application from scratch

I think using hte Dojo tool kit, there are really many things to do when you do it from scratch. If will find it it very difficult to finish every thing in the componects while your projects get moved on normally.
