I don't think the question was actually about the Struts "nested" taglib.... but I think one answer to the question would be to use a jsp expression e.g.

value='<%= tuples.getAirCode()%>'

(assuming you have first done something like a bean:define so that there is a local scripting variable named "tuples", in addition to an attribute of whatever scope))

another answer would be to use a JSTL expression (if you are deploying to a servlet container that supports JSTL EL).

u can use nested tags in the following manner in a jsp page.

(write this piece of code within your body)

where "airCode" has been defined in your CTestBean.java class and the setter and getter methods for this bean have been declared in your actionform.

but i guess value='' will give you the value as a hardcoded string and therefore u need to use a tag as

hi
you can't apply tag where another tag expecting a value for an atribute.in other terms struts cann't transform a tag which mentioned in quotes as a value for another tag.
