How to handle large java files in eclipse

one of java file is very long (around 15000 lines of code) and whenever i do any operation on that eclipse behaves very slow. Is there any way thorugh i can handle huge files with ease.

Yeah... refactor them into smaller files. No source code file in any language that has ever been devised needs to be anywhere near that length. (Pendants: assembler doesn't count -- that's not source code anymore :) I'll admit I'm impressed eclipse handles anything of that length at all.

A class of 15000 lines is probably not very good OO. Review the architecture of the class.
