I have java version 1.4.2.


In my rmi folder I have 3 .java files


1]Interface PowerService


2]class PowerServiceServer implement PowerService


3]class PowerServiceClient which has main method.



I first compliled this files, then when i tried rmic I got file not file error

If you are using JDK1.5, then you don't need rmic. The stub will be generated at execution time.


For pre 1.5, make sure you specify a -classpath both for your classes and the the Java home directory on the command line.
