Need Examples to Develop a editor for java files in eclipse

Hi friends,


i am going to develop a editor for java files in eclipse. that editor should have all the standard editor
capabilites like content assist, syntax highlighting etc.

can anybody suggest me where i can find the suitable examples or I will appreciate if anybody have some
idea regarding this.

Eclipse is open source and has a java editor. If you're feeling brave enough, just go straight to the, well, source. You may even be able to subclass the standard eclipse java editor to add whatever bells and whistles you need.
