Hi,

In our project there is only one server is being used for development in UNIX. So only one person can start and stop the server, and it will afect others work also. I would like to know how to modify the settings so that different people can have different port no. as well as the seperate instance. So that they can start and stop individually without affecting others work. Let me know how to do that?

You need to create seperate OC4J instances for each seperate application that will be deployed. Then when you deploy changes to the server only restart your OC4J instance and other people shouldn't be affected. If you restart all the components in the server (like HTTP Server, Web Cache, etc...), then everyone will be affected.
