Hi,
I've developped an application in J2ME for Nokia Series 60 . It takes 0.2 seconds to run it in the emulator and 2 seconds in Nokia 6682.
Can someone tell me what's the problem.
(I tried to call to garbage collector before each dynamic allocation but there was no enhancement)

Hi,we cannot say that the time execution will be same in both the emulator and handsets..because u have lot of memory when u r testing in the emulator.and also the allocation and deallocation of memory always fast in case of emulator..but in handsets it is depending upon the handset..

One thing u can test in the emulator by changing the edit, preferences and heap to low(210 kb for 40 series)and try to run..but this will help but not 100%.

In some devices memory deallocation is very fast..and in some devices slow...I think it differs device to device...eventhough the series is same(60)..
