2)Does JSF support Internationalisation?

3)For an application which is more Data oriented, will JSF or Struts be more applicable

Matt Raible has done some comparisons among frameworks (raibledesigns.org).

Also note there is Struts "Shale" now which builds on top of JSF.

To me it kind of seems that JSF is not ready yet. I see stuff around the net by people using it, and they seem to have lots of complaints so far.

So we're still using Struts Action Framework for now (not Shale). But eventually probably JSF will catch on and take over, if the vendors continue to push it, and if the ugly messy kinks are worked out....

Also since Oracle has just donated their ADF Cherokee implementation of JSF to Apache, I think I'll consider trying it, once the MyFaces project has intgegrated it into a release.
