Hai Everybody

Since 4 days iam trying to impliment logger in applets,which has to log to the remote system.As i know some what i tried but i did n't succeed.So can anyone help me with complete example to impliment remote logging.


I have tried by implimenting socketAppender in applets and i used socketNode eventhough iam not getting completely.This is desparate.

Make sure you only try to open socket back to server where applet loaded from. Anywhere else not allowed.

What error from your appender?

If nothing is listening for the appender to talk to, the appender will block. In that case you need to implement udp appender so applet can continue. In the case of udp appender delivery is not guaranteed, but it will not block.
