App Server is typically both web container and ejb container.
Web server is only web container.
also app server provides or comes with many in built functionalites like connection pooling,connection
management, threading.. etc etc.. which does not comes with a web server ...

This is called a "search-function"... Try to master searching first, instead of trying to be a programmer.... I fear the day people like you get in my team of programmers. Being a programmer also means finding solutions yourself, not being handed on a plate...
