"Searchable" == ??


If you mean, will Google, Yahoo etc. automatically find it and index it, I'd say the answer is maybe yes, eventually, especially if you have some interesting content, have other pages linking to yours, etc.


If you mean, can you add a "search this site" function to your pages, with your own local search engine and your own local index, well that's a different question altogether.

If you just want to be able to search for a string on the single "mypage.html", well your browser already does this for you!
