Is it possible to write a serial port communication program in Java on Linux platform???? If yes could someone send sample code or related url ASAP...

yes download the additional library from sun site you will get every thing from that downloaded material.remember this library is not included in standard j2se.so you have to download it.this library is available for windows and
solaris so for linux download additional library provided
by some other vendor to get that library search for-
rxtx on google and get your answer answered
