Hi,

I got a Java:RPC web-service and I'm trying to call this webservice from VB-client. I found that we need to generate wsdl file inorder to make a call from this VB client.

It would be great hlep,if you would let me know how to generate wsdl file ..

If you are using Axis, create a WSDD file which looks like this (called deploy.wsdd):


 
  
  
 


Make sure your classes or jars that implement these classes are available in your CLASSPATH.

Then run:
% java org.apache.axis.client.AdminClient deploy.wsdd
Done processing

This should have successfully deployed your service. You can check your WSDL with the URL
http://localhost:8080/axis/services/MyService?wsdl

This is the same URL you will need your VB w/s client to connect to.
