Folks,

I have written a developers guide for JMX and have made
it available for developers to use.

Please provide any feedback, suggestions, comments.

Here is the link where you will find the pdf and zip of
the sources:

That was really useful. Thanks.

However, as a total newcomer I'm a bit confused about one point.

In your examples, you simulate clients by adding code intot he agent application.

How do real clients access the resources in an MBean server? This si abig puzzle to me.

Thanks.

Just a quick view ...

  • links works

  • "quick start" with 81 pages :-)

  • fine: Apache Commons Modeler

seems to be very fine. I would add a short paragraph about XDoclet and its ability to generate the JMX-Interface. And you should post your message to the commons-mailinglist. Maybe the add a link in the "Documentation" section of their homepage.
