That was really useful. Thanks.


However, as a total newcomer I'm a bit confused about one point.


In your examples, you simulate clients by adding code intot he agent application.


How do real clients access the resources in an MBean server? This si abig puzzle to me.

  • links works

  • "quick start" with 81 pages :-)

  • fine: Apache Commons Modeler


seems to be very fine. I would add a short paragraph about XDoclet and its ability to generate the JMX-Interface. And you should post your message to the commons-mailinglist. Maybe the add a link in the "Documentation" section of their homepage.
