hi all This is really urgent we have oracle 8i database server behind a firewall. We access it using VPN client (SecuRemote). But now it is to be accessed programmatically. If we start VPN client on our machine and then use normal JDBC code to connect to database, connection is established. But we do not want to start VPN client, we are not sure whether actual client machine will have VPN client on it or not. So we want to authenticate through VPN connection programmatically. As far as I have the information, protocol in use is IPSEC. Can you pls provide sample java code asap or give suggestion? regards Varun    More>>

hi all

This is really urgent
we have oracle 8i database server behind a firewall.
We access it using VPN client (SecuRemote). But now it is to be accessed programmatically.
If we start VPN client on our machine and then use normal JDBC code to connect to database, connection is established.
But we do not want to start VPN client,
we are not sure whether actual client machine will have VPN client on it or not.
So we want to authenticate through VPN connection programmatically.
As far as I have the information, protocol in use is IPSEC.

Can you pls provide sample java code asap or give suggestion?
