I get an Object from one of the methods on MBean. When it's one of the Java natives (String etc..) casting from Object to it works fine. But when I try one of my own it throws ClassCastException. Interesting fact is that when I use object.getClass().getName() it returns my custom object's name. but when i try "if object instanceof myObject" it returns "false".
Please let me know if you know what it is!
Thanks!

objectinstance returned by the mbean server is not the reference to the actual mbean registered..see JMX specs
