i need to know how do i call this method from a jsp page as i need to populate a combo box with the values ..

You can't invoke a ejbSelect method directly from your JSP.This is because the ejbSelect methods are those methods which needs to be used within your bean class.

Hence what you can do is define a ejbHome method and from there you access your ejbSlect. From your JSP call the ejbHome method using the home interface object.

Hope this helps....
