I use MS 2000. I use the MS given free jdbc driver. I use jdk 1.4.1. I get a "String index out of range: -2" at the point after execution of a select statement(precisely at line while(rs.next())...Any clue?

can you print the stack trace, and the block of code where the exception originates?
