Hey all,

I have a question regarding this subject.

Here is my setup

  • Tomcat 3.2.4
  • apache 1.3.26
  • mod_jk V.???
  • mod_ssl 2.8.15
all in a linux box

The situation is that Apache handles the WEB/SSL part, while Tomcat does the application. I have both the http(80) and the https(443) ports open.

An user enters the site using http, and logs in using https. After logging in, the web application is done over SSL. However, after logging in, if the user enters http://url/directory/page, this page is handled via non-secure protocol!

So, to get to the question, how do I force the user to use https rather than http, after the user logs in?

Thanks in advance,
