I'm doing an academic project in J2ME and am looking for a way to hand in my work in such a way as it can be easily viewed using departmental Macintosh computers. I also intend to show off my handy work afterwards as part of a portfolio website.

My target device is a Sony Ericsson P800, so would prefer to display in full colour with mouse to screen input.
My budget is small so would like to use something that's free for academic use.

Could someone recommend a Macintosh or Web based emulator for my .jar files?

If you are using Palm for target, go to www.palm.com and download the emulator they provide..(registration is needed).

I have also a P800. Nice device.

You can download an emulator for J2me as part of wireless tool from www.wireless.java.com
that run over java.(you may need to expand it first on Windows). You will need to download a java version for the Mac (you will need version 3.x)

If you want to have an P800 emulator looks expand the vesrion available on the CD on PC or from sony ericsson/developer and take the classes to MAC or the skin.
Look on Sun site for skin usage.
