Hi,


I 'm new in JNI. At first of all I want to know If I could implement my application using JNI on Winodws then run it in both Windows and Unix/Linux platform or not?

JNI bridges the java world to native code. The java part should run on xNIX, but the native part not. If you have luck, you can simply recompile your native code on the xNIX system and then you can run your app there, too.


DonĀ“t forget: if you use JNI you are not platform independent any more (per se)!
