How can I access the parameters that are displayed using the GET method in the URL? For instance, if I pass a username, how can I make it show up on my next html page.

These values are put in the "request" object when a POST or GET method is called.

Are you using a JSP or Servlet to generate the next page? Then you can by using the request object's

String value = request.getParameter("VALUE-NAME");

method. Then, you can generate the appropriate HTML.

You can do this with any web application (ASP, Perl, PHP) that has access to the request object.
