While running Tomcat on localhost I'm trying to test the javamail parts of my webapp.

The problem is that I get an error similr to unknown smtp service: smtp.ntlworld.com

I have a live connection to the internet through ntl while trying this by the way

Should this work like this, or should I be running a mail server locally also?
