i need a help in compiling java file and steps to make .jar file of it on Mac 9.0 OS.

You can down load the last version of MRJ and MRJ SDK from Apple's
web site
. I believe this would be version 2.2.5 which implements
JDK 1.1.8. I have not done any Java work on OS 9 myself but the information on this link seems quite useful. It shows
examples of compiling Java code as well as building a JAR file. It also has a number of useful links.



I would suggest re-examining your reasons for developing Java
programs under OS 9, since you would be using an old (out-dated?) version of
Java on an end-of-lifed OS. Also I am not sure how robust this
combination was.
