We have a typical problem regarding achieving performance with SwiftMQ. We are sending messages of around 300 bytes to the SwiftMQ queue and then doing some logical processing using the consumers. We are using 4 Producers-4queues-4consumers. Doing all this we are achieving a good rate of around 8000 msgs/second. But our business application is such that after doing the logical processing we require to send the messages to a third party JMS Server which is again a JMS queue with 4 queues-4 Consumers. So the consumers doing the logical processing become producers after the logical processing in order to send the mesages to the third party JMS Queues. By doing this our performance dramatically drops to 4500 msgs/second. Please help with any suggestions or   More>>

You have to figure out which part the bottleneck is. Are your consumers capable to process 8000 msgs/s? If not, flow control is adapted and your overall rate goes down to the rate of your consumers.
