Hi,
My Question is:
a) The difference between 1.2 and 1.4 version of java certification exam.
b)Which version would be useful to take now and why?
c)Would a java certificate of 1.4 version make a difference? since its the latest version which sun has come up with?

It is always recommended to take the latest version of the exam.
Keep in mind that version 1.5 will be out soon so 1.2 may be really old.
However there are other considerations too.If you are working or have worked on applets,Swing etc then 1.2 may be a good exam to take as it will enhance your career better
