After testing, I try to close the Oracle JDBC in the tearDown() method : the code is executed, there is no exception thrown, but the connection with the database is not closed. If I use the same code running via Ant, the connection is closing with no problem.



If someone has an explanation ...

Maybe there is somewhat providing a pool. If you close a pooled connection the pool tells you that all is right but keeps the connection open (for other clients). So your test client has closed the connection but oracle has an open one.
