Hi all,
i am using a SMTP server which is not of my ISP's mail server and the mail is not getting sent. Is this is an ISP's problem?

Maybe your ISP is filtering outgoing port 25 connections, requiring you to use their SMTP servers, to prevent spamming?

For instance, pobox.com provides SMTP service to pobox.com forwarding customers, but they all are coming in via other ISP's, so pobox.com provides SMTP on port 26, since so many ISP's are filtering outgoing port 25 now.
