Hi,
Is it possible to retrieve an MQ message's origine - host name/IP?

I have a daemon that has to process messages sent by only certain hosts? Is that possible?

Could you not just set a property at the sender side on the messages, say "hostname" to the value of InetAddress.getHostName(), then you could set configure your MessageConsumer to have a messageselector that only receives messages where "hostname=[requiredhost]"?
