Why IntellijIDEA and no Eclipse?

See my question under JBuilder regarding an Eclipse (eclipse.org) forum. I made an inquiry into IntellijIDEA regarding J2EE application server development support and was astonished that they had none at the time. Perhaps my astonishment was unjustified as this is not an Enterprise level development environment. That may have changed, but you would be hard-pressed to convince me it is better than using Eclipse (free) or a combination of Eclipse and the defacto java build standard Ant: Eclipse integrates with Ant.

What do you mean, no J2EE support?

IDEA has great EJB support, and does really well with JSP/Servlets too.

BIG IDEs like JBuilder and Eclipse give you lots of support in tasks that you perform infrequently. It's great to be able to press a button to generate a session bean, but how often do you create session beans?

IDEA helps you with things you do thousands of times a day, like renaming a variable, or cutting & pasting code, and a thousand other little things.

I've used Eclipse, JBuilder, and IDEA, extensively. IDEA is in a class of its own.
