I've seen it's possible to download build 689 for Mac OS X, but the IntelliJ site also says that the IDEA won't work without JDK 1.4, which is not available on Mac yet. What's the deal? What should I do to use IntelliJ 3.0 on my Mac?

Version 2.6 of IntelliJ IDEA for Mac OS users is available for download and evaluation at http://www.intellij.com/idea/download_mac.jsp. This version works with JDK 1.3.1.

If you want to test IntelliJ IDEA 3.0 with the beta version of JDK 1.4 for Mac OS, then you can download the Generic Unix installation archive from http://www.intellij.com/idea/download.jsp.
