I noticed some of the email client (e.g. Outlook and Netscape Messenger) would automatically download the related stuffs (e.g. gif, jpeg etc.) when it receives a message body with MIME type "text/html" and there is link within the HTML text. How to use JavaMail to send out email so that the email client will be triggered to do this download? Anything to set at the SMTP header?

If you send an email message with text/html body part containing an "img" tag, and if the recipient's email client renders HTML in email, and if the recipient's Internet settings for the default (in Windows/IE, unfortunately most email clients treat the content of email messages according to the setting for Internet Options, Security, Internet zone) are set for "automatically display images", then it should do it (retrieve and render the target of the "img" tag).
