Interfacing with the network port

Hi

I need to capture and read the header of all packets that are coming through the pc network port.Is there any way that I could be directed to solving this.

Look at the Socket class, figure out which port you want to monitor, ponder if wirting the class really is necessary (as opposed to taking an off-the-shelf packet sniffer) and read the Java Tutorial on Networking Essentials
