hi

i am facing 2 problems .

1. i cant input arabic/chinese characters in NS4.7 although i have the fonts.However i am able to input the same in NS6.0 and IE. NS4.7 only displays ?????

2. I save arabic/chinese from IE into the database. when i retrieve it, i can see it properly in IE and NS6.0. NS4.7 displays it as ????

please help.

Stop supporting NS 4.x. It is old, slow, does not contain fixes for several security issues, has poor unicode/multi-byte support, and is more trouble than it's worth to support.

This is even easier to do if you have any sensitive information on your site, just say, "We cannot support Netscape 4.x for security reasons. We must keep your data safe, after all."
