It’s been now confirmed that the filming for Money Heist Season 5 was finished. Season 5 will the last installment of the show, making lovers even more emotional about it. It’s expected to be released at the end of 2021.
A crew member of this series has confirmed this news by posting it on Instagram. Fans could be observed getting emotional about the show’s final season. Money Heist or La Casa de Papel is one of the most popular shows on Netflix. It is a Spanish show that also makes it one of the most popular Non-English shows. The series was initially named -‘ Los Desahuciados’ or ‘The Evicted’. La Casa de Papel means The Money House. The name was altered after Netflix obtained it to show to its global audience.
Money Heist Season 5 Updates
Abdon Alcañiz, who is the Art Director of this show recently confirmed this news. He explained that the series has reached its final week of creation. He has been a part of this series because it started to air in 2017 on Antenna 3, a Spanish network. Netflix obtained the series after it became a hit in Spain. And it renewed the show for its third, fourth, and fifth seasons. Production for the series began in August last year in Madrid and now is in the process of completing Money Heist Season 5.
Some cast members like Pedro Alonso, Itziar Ituño, and Miguel Herrán recently confirmed that they’re done filming for their part. Álvaro Morte, that plays the role of The Professor also affirmed wrapping up of his part and penned down an emotional note on Instagram. His article had behind scenes picture and has been captioned:

The previous season of this series ended with Alicia Sierra finding out about The Professor’s hideout. Many fans are still unhappy about the death of Nairobi, played by Alba Flores. The show is written by Javier Gómez Santander. He told me that the show will finish well and that the fifth season will be an excellent one. Javier further added that spin-offs in the series can’t be denied. Money Heist Season 5 was renewed by Netflix in July 2020.
