Stoinis began to groan in pain after throwing his second ball of the 7th over. He immediately left the field and Glenn Maxwell completed the over. According to Cricket.com, a 31-year-old player has pain in the left side of the abdomen and scans will be done to know the severity of the injury.
All-rounder Cameron Green and Moises Henriques could be in the running for the second ODI at the SCG on Sunday due to Stoinis injury. Stoins, who landed at number four in the first ODI, could not do anything with the bat. He had to return to ‘zero’.
