Through his social networks, the Mexican pilot shared a list of his best and worst moments in this year 2020.
The Mexican driver Sergio Pérez summarized the most momentous moments he lived in 2020; since he was left without a team in September until his most recent and first triumph in the top Formula 1 competition.
Through His Twitter Account,
Jalisco remembered when he tested positive for Covid-19 in July of this year. “I miss two races – in such a short season. I felt that everything was lost. My worst time of the year!
Then he lists other bitter moments in his career when, together with his still team Racing Point, he stroked the podium, but finished in sixth place this Sunday at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, the thirteenth date of the 2020 Formula 1 calendar, due to your team’s bad strategy once again.

But not everything was gray for Checo Pérez in 2020: on December 6, the Mexican driver made history after being crowned in the Sakhir Grand Prix, the first triumph in his career in the premier class, since his arrival in 2011 for the team Sauber.
Sergio Pérez said,
“I won my first race and we put Mexico back at the top after 50 years,”
A result that convinced the Red Bull Racing team to sign him for Sergio Pérez to be one of their drivers in 2021. “I have the opportunity for which I have worked (for) for more than 25 years.”
