The first trailer Witcher Season 2 confirmed the return of Yennefer, and her imprisonment by Nilfgaardian soldiers. But where will she be when she is found? It isn’t surprising that successful series of books leap other media to expand their universes and capitalize upon their popularity. It was only a matter of a while. The Witcher to its TV program. Andrzej sapkowski, the Polish author of the book, made this movie and TV series in Poland in 2001/2002. Netflix came along in 2019 to make an English version.
The Witcher this season focuses on Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill), the title character; Yennefer of Vengerberg (Anya Chalotra), a powerful sorceress; and Ciri (Freya Allan), the crown princess of Cintra, whose stories intersect at the end of season 1. These characters include Geralt of Rivia (“Henry Cavill”), the title witcher; Yennefer of Vengerberg (“Anya Chalotra”), a powerful sorceress, and Ciri (“Freya Allan”) who is tied to Geralt by the Law of Surprise. Netflix realized what The Witcher had and renewed it. Season 2 will be available in December.
Jennifer joined The Witcher season 1 to defend Cintra from an attack of the Nilfgaardian Army. For this purpose, she channeled all of its chaos (or magic) and created a huge stream of flame to attack the enemy army. Yennefer found it too difficult to withstand and was forced to leave the battlefield. Yennefer survived. This is contrary to what you might think. Fringilla locates Yennefer. The images that showed her shackled in the aforementioned images suggest she was taken, prisoner. But, where was she found?
This question has grown in force because Tissaia di Vries (MyAnna Buring), is shown looking for Yennefer just seconds before her appearance in the Witcher 2 trailer. However, if Fringilla & the Nilfgaardian armies found her, she shouldn’t need to be far from where she was. Jennifer can be seen in a wooded area, which suggests that she may have been too far away from the battlefield for Tissaia (and company) to find her. But she also happened to be heading the Nilfgaardian military’s way.
It is also possible that she was discovered by Fringilla’s company before Tissaia, the rest, or they took her with them. Fringilla sees a bonfire behind Fringilla, which indicates they are already far off the battlefield, on their way back from Nilfgaard. The possibility that Yennefer was captured by the Wild Hunt ( a group of specters riding on undead horses and galloping across space) was speculated before the trailer’s release. This theory is not unlikely.
It is a much bigger question than where Yennefer is. The WitcherSeason 2 will be about her escape from them, and how she joins Geralt and Ciri. The trailer for the Witcher Season 2It was enough to get a sense of the story but still left enough mystery for fans to talk about and eagerly await new episodes.
