Yashahime’s official English Twitter confirmed that like Season 1, The Second Act would also debut on Funimation Crunchyroll and Hulu. NEWS, a J-pop band of three members, has been hired to record the season’s opening song.

Yashahime is a follow-up to Inuyasha which was a fan favorite manga/anime. Yashahime features Towa (the twin daughters of Sesshomaru, Rin) who were separated as young girls.
