WrestleMania 37 could have a cardboard audience. Last night the SuperBowl LV took place, one of the biggest sporting events in the world starring the NFL National Football League. On this occasion, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, led by veteran Tom Brady beat the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9. The game was held at Raymond James Stadium the same stadium where WrestleMania 37 will be held in two months.
It was a litmus test for WWE given that the SuperBowl hosted around 22,000 spectators and the Showcase of the Immortals aims to host a higher number in the two evenings that will take place on April 10 and 11, 2021. The Raymond James Stadium has a capacity of approximately 65,000 spectators and, thanks to the amount of public that finally entered, it was possible to maintain the regulatory safety distance to avoid contagion by COVID-10. In vacant booths, the NFL put paper-mache cutouts of people who couldn’t make it to the game.
Good news! Text from a source just now saying WWE will 100% discuss having the cutouts again. Says “it’s beyond dumb to not, RJS looked wonderful for what it was” https://t.co/gs59k4ru3k

Precisely, WWE positively valued the appearance of the stands complemented with cardboard audience and would be studying the possibility of using the same resource for WrestleMania 37, as reported by the specialized portal WrestleVotes. The company had declined to use cardboard audiences in past meetings, but SuperBowl has caused the proposal to be re-debated.
We have received a message from a source saying that WWE is going to study once again the possibility of having the cutouts. He adds that ‘it would be stupid not to do it the Raymond James Stadium looked wonderful within the limits.
WWE Wants To Have 30,000 Fans At WrestleMania
It was recently reported that WWE intended to introduce around 30,000 people to Raymond James Stadium a figure higher than what had originally been speculated (14,000). However, the new restrictions enacted by Joe Biden could affect this objective. Dave Meltzer a journalist for Wrestling Observer analyzed the situation in the last weekly newsletter and was a bit skeptical about getting that number of viewers, although being the first show with an audience it is likely that WWE will be able to mobilize so many people at the level local.
WWE has not yet put the tickets for WrestleMania 37 on sale, although there is speculation about a possible drop in price to encourage the movement of people.
