Repetition of the events that led Adam Pearce to participate in the Gauntlet where he obtained the opportunity to challenge Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble.

Roman Reigns observes the contract for his match with Adam Pearce, accompanied by Paul Heyman. Paul says the match needs a stipulation for Roman to teach Adam a lesson in fear and respect. Heyman takes the contract so he can make some changes. Roman is quiet and serious.

Jey Uso welcomes from the ring. He says that together with his cousin, Roman Reigns, they run this show. My family is the one who decides things here. Adam Pearce, be careful Jey threatens. Jey announces his participation in the Royal Rumble and states that he will win to go for the WWE Championship on Monday Night Raw. We are not satisfied with Smackdown. We are going for everything in WWE, he adds and states that things with Shinsuke Nakamura are not over.

Shinsuke Nakamura comes out to face Jey. If Roman Reigns is the Big Dog, you are the Little Pup Nakamura says before kicking Jey.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Hey use

Nakamura takes the initiative of combat. Takedown Jey and connect a Knee Drop. Uso responds and applies a Body Slam to search the account without success. Nakamura goes on the attack with knees and stomps. As Cesaro enters, Nakamura takes Jey out of the ring and smashes him into the commentary table. Returning from commercials, Nakamura stops a kick but Jey quickly connects with his other leg.

Cesaro joins the commentary table. Cesaro announces that he will be part of the Royal Rumble. Nakamura stops Jey’s offense with a kick and unloads several more on him. Sliding German Suplex for Jey for a count of two. Samoan Drop by Jey but it’s not enough. From the position of Back Suplex Jey applies a Neckbreaker, Nakamura resists. Nakamura’s Flying Knee and another count of two. He charges towards Jey who receives him with a Superkick. Nakamura stops the Splash with his legs. Jey looks for the account leaning on the ropes, but the referee sees him in time. Roll Up and Nakamura’s Kinshasa for the count of three.

Sonya Deville talks to Adam Pearce backstage. Paul Heyman shows up with the contract and says it’s the chance of a lifetime. Adam highlights the importance of combat and says that the rules will be favorable to Adam: no disqualification. Despite her discontent and her annoyance with Heyman, Pearce signs.

Jey Uso complains to the referee backstage for not counting three in their match. Do your job, Jey yells before leaving.

Street Profits are interviewed backstage. Kayla asks if it was a good idea to put the Couples Championships on the line against Roode and Ziggler last week. They reply that they can call them anything, but they are not cowards. They make jokes about how they can call Roode and Ziggler but they get serious saying that now they can call them champions.

Roman Reigns advises Apollo Crews, saying that he has to feel like he’s in control. Paul Heyman comes with the signed contract, Apollo prepares to leave, but Reigns invites him to stay to learn. Reigns don’t want to sign. I never wanted a no-disqualification match. I want the Last Man Standing Reign’s demands. Heyman says no Adam Pearce will never accept it, Reigns says he will. Natalya (w / Tamina) vs. Liv Morgan (w / Ruby Riott & Billie Kay)

Liv lands a kick and gains confidence in the match. Morgan stomps her against the corner until the referee pulls her away. Natalya stars against the corner guard and searches for the bill. Billie gets up from the table and goes to the ring. Meanwhile, Liv tries the count of three. Kay complains to the referee, Tamina initiates her and when fleeing, she passes through the ring. Natalya takes advantage of the distraction.

King Corbin vs. Rey Mysterio (w / Dominik Mysterio)

Rey attacks first, but Corbin controls the fight thanks to his power. He yells at Dominik, who is at the commentary table if he is enjoying himself. Rey responds with Bulldog, Corbin soon takes him out of the ring and connects a Clothesline. He faces Dominik and shoves him when he gets up. Return Rey to the ring and find the account. Corey Graves insists that Dominik should step in, but he says he respects his father and doesn’t want to cause him trouble. Rey connects a Senton, Corbin catches a Crossbody and charges it. Mysterio throws him against the ropes to search for the 619 but receives the Deep Six instead. Dominik faces Corbin and receives the right hand. He wants to get in the ring but his father stops him. Corbin pushes Rey, causing him to collide with Dominik, which he uses to search for the account after the End of Days.
Winner: King Corbin.

Paul Heyman tackles Adam Pearce backstage. He says Roman Reigns didn’t sign the contract, according to him, because Adam was concerned about the stipulation. Heyman tells him the new idea, make it a Last Man Standing. Adam gets upset again but takes the contract. Paul tells him that he has time to read it and think until he signs with Roman later in the ring.

Bayley asks her to get behind the door and ring the bell to get in, Bianca says she knows it’s her when she asks who she is. Bianca walks in and sits on Bayley’s couch, who decides to stay standing. Bayley puts a video of when he defeated Belair but apologizes because that is not what he wanted to put. She argues with Bianca about the EST term she uses, and tensions rise. Bianca challenges her to a fight Bayley instead wants an obstacle course challenge. Bianca laughs and assures them that she will win.

Daniel Bryan and Otis train with Chad Gable. Kayla Braxton interviews Daniel, who says he respects Shinsuke Nakamura a lot and doesn’t want negativity about him. Cesaro cuts him off and says Bryan would have better chances if he trained with someone better, instead of “learning the Macarena, says Cesaro poking fun at Gable’s hip training.

Quick start where both seek to dominate with braces in the middle of the ring. Daniel controls Cesaro’s arm, who leads him against the corner to free himself. Cesaro escapes and stomps on Bryan’s leg to then apply the swing. Sharpshooter at Daniel, who turns to escape and passes a Yes Lock again. Struggling on the heights, Daniel tries Hurricanrana but Cesaro stops him. Vertical Suplex from the second rope for Bryan, but it is not enough.

Kayla Braxton interviews Carmella, accompanied by Reginald. He says he hasn’t seen Sasha Banks since he beat her two weeks ago. Maybe he’s hiding because he knows I’m better, Carmella would say when Sasha appears and shoves her. Reginald stops in between to stop her. Banks offer a title match to Carmella if she agrees to let Reginald face her first.

Apollo Crews vs. Sami Zayn

Big E watches the match from an armchair at ringside. Sami takes control and takes Crews out of the ring. Apollo responds and looks for height in the ring, but Sami knocks him down and then looks for the account. Crews dodge Sami and apply a German Suplex. Zayn tries the account by taking the trusses but the referee does not allow it. Sami’s Exploder Suplex, Crews then looks for the account by taking him from the trusses but without being seen, achieving the count of three.
Winner: Apollo Crews.

Apollo Crews takes the Intercontinental Championship from Big E, who stops to exchange words with him. Crews tell him to watch him while he leaves.

Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Paul Heyman come out to the ring. Adam Pearce then arrives to sign the contract. Jey rudely lifts Adam up to give Roman his chair. Pearce sits in another chair, and with great annoyance, signs the contract. Roman, almost smiling, signs as well and makes himself comfortable in his seat. Pearce complains about having to wait all night for this and leaves the ring, but can’t seem to walk. He starts talking about knee injuries. Like all WWE contracts, the card is subject to change. But I assure you there will be a suitable replacement. And that is exactly what I have in mind.

Kevin Owens! KO comes out and signs the contract to face Roman Reigns at Royal Rumble for the Universal Championship.
