During the Monday Night RAW broadcasts through the USA Network, a special episode of the red show dedicated to legends has been announced for the first edition of 2021.
WWE will kick off the new RAW year with a special edition that promises to bring back various luminaries from the past. In the first commercial cut of the red show, the company announced RAW Legends Night for the first week of 2021 and confirmed the first special guests of the day. Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, The Big Show, Kurt Angle, Torrie Wilson, and Beth Phoenix were mentioned in the commercial, but we also got to see images of other former competitors like Carlito Colon or Sgt. Slaughter.
This is not the first time that WWE has decided to make an episode of RAW dedicated to superstars of the past. On June 22, 2019, WWE held the RAW Reunion special at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. Various superstars of the past such as D-Generation X, Hulk Hogan, Jimmy Hart, Rob Van Dam, Eric Bischoff, Ron Simmons, among others. In the last moments of the show, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin came out to the ring with all the guests of the day to celebrate in front of the public.
RAW Legends Night will take place on January 4, 2021, from the Tropicana Field Center in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Fans will be able to watch the show through the USA Network, or by registering to be a part of the Thunderdome. WWE is expected to announce more legends as well as matches and segments for this episode of the red show in the coming days.
