Is this the end of Supernatural Saga? Will it return for Season 16? One of the most famous and longest running TV series ever shown by The CW is Supernatural. The show, which was produced by Eric Kripke, the creator of The Boys, first began airing on The WB in 2005 and has since retained its devoted following on The CW. Supernatural and its fans are now enjoying its 15th season, but some fans are beginning to wonder if Supernatural will come back for season 16 as the end of the current season approaches.
On October 10th, 2019, season 15 of Supernatural started airing on The CW more than a year ago. Originally, the season was scheduled to end in May 2020, but production problems caused by the pandemic of Covid-19 meant that the final episodes had to be postponed. On October 8th, Supernatural’s 15th season finally got back on track and continues to follow the Winchester brothers as their almost never-ending war continues against all supernatural stuff.
Will Supernatural return for a 16th Season?
No for season 16, Supernatural will not be returning. This is because Supernatural itself is coming to an end and season 15 is going to act as the much loved show’s last ever season. In March 2019, it was revealed, when season 14 was still
airing, that season 15 will be the final installment of Supernatural. Season 15 ended with a series finale that saw Dean die during a search and say goodbye to his brother Sammy at an early age, who went on to live a long life.
The producers were of the belief that they did not want the show that aired to end in a hizzy way for too long. To continue the show more, they were running out of ideas. So, they finally made the decision to end the show.
So viewers, if you haven’t seen season 15 yet, go and watch it. And if you’ve watched it already, it’s time to move on. Apart from that you should watch the season again. It would feel nice to relive those memories again wouldn’t it?
