
Paramount+’s iCarly Season 2 of the reboot has been renewed Original iCarly It premiered on Nickelodeon in 2007 and ran for six seasons. The hit teen sitcom followed Carly Shay, played by Miranda Cosgrove. She navigated her everyday teenage life while managing the web series “iCarly” with Sam (Jennette Mccurdy).Freddie (Nathan Kress). Jerry Trainor starred as Spencer, Carly’s eccentric guardian and brother. Paramount+ rebooted the series on June 17 and brought back many of the characters that fans loved.
The successful reboot is now confirmed for a second season. Paramount+ renewed the iCarly reboot just half an hour before the end of the first season. Season 2 production will start in Los Angeles this Fall. Paramount+ will broadcast the new season wherever available, including in the U.S., Australia and Canada.

The 13-episode revival takes place ten years after the events in the original series. It follows Carly, now 26, as she navigates adulthood. McCurdy has decided not to return, but most of the original cast is included in the revival. Newcomers Laci Moley and Jaidyn Triplett play Harper and Millicent in the reboot.
Paramount+’s new take on iCarly It includes more mature themes and situations to appeal to the original audience, who are in their 20s now. iCarly It was a show in high demand that needed a reboot. The show has managed to satisfy both old and new fans. Since its June premiere, the show has been ranked among the top-streamed shows on the streaming service. It will be interesting for the viewers to see if the reboot lasts as long as the original.
