Titans Season 3

New set pictures for Titans season 3 have shown the show’s return to Arkham Asylum. The series, which started about the now-defunct streaming platform DC Universe before moving to HBO Max, stars an ensemble cast of classic DC characters including Nightwing (Brenton Thwaites), Starfire (Anna Diop), Raven (Teagan Croft), Beast Boy (Ryan Potter), along with Jason Todd (Curran Walters). Titans season, its first to premiere on HBO Max, is now in production.

Even though it was criticized upon its first announcement for a seemingly forced black tone, Titans has gained a more committed fan base over the course of its first two seasons and established itself a persuasive new live-action entry in the DC universe. The show has gained high critical praise, especially for the strength and chemistry of its young ensemble cast. Now that the show has a bigger audience than previously on HBO Max, season 3 has the capacity to release Titans to even greater heights.

Titans Season 3

Due to some new set photos shared by Twitter accounts Toronto Filming, lovers of Titans will find a glimpse in the new Arkham Asylum place for season 3. The infamous Batman location was glimpsed in a dream sequence in the end of season 1, but it appears like Arkham may have a much bigger role in the story this time around. That opens up the possibility of some variety of classic villains to feature in season 3, which can be pretty exciting. Check out the photos below.

By the expression of the photos, it seems like Arkham Asylum is in perfect working order in Titans season 3. Since its beginning, the show has dealt heavily with Batman’s legacy, and there’s not any larger effect of that legacy compared to the asylum itself, where so many of the Dark Knight’s foes have been locked off. No matter Arkham’s function is in season, it should be interesting to watch.

It would make sense for Titans to expand its roster of villains, as the number of heroes from the series has grown significantly since the start of season 1. The core team of Nightwing, Starfire, Raven and Beast Boy has enlarged to include other characters like Wonder Girl (Conor Leslie), Dove (Minka Kelly), and Hawk (Alan Ritchson). That team could be facing some of the toughest challenges yet in Titans period 3, particularly when some of those villains in Arkham Asylum figure out how to get free and cause chaos.
