American science fiction comedy The Orville has announced the third season for the show. The series is created by Seth MacFarlane and is inspired by several science fiction such as Star Trek and Next Generation.
The third season will air soon on Hulu, unlike the first two seasons that aired on Fox. The Orville is available for streaming in India exclusively on Disney Plus Hotstar.

Orville Season 3 Plot so far
The show narrates the story of Earth set 400 years in the 25th Century future, an exploratory ship named USS Orville (ECV-197) which is not a very top of the line vessel. The ship includes both human and alien crew.
The crew includes Officer Ed Mercer who finally gets the chance to become a Captain after a bitter divorce with his wife and finally has a chance to prove his worth. But the task was not so easy for him as the First officer in command is none other than his ex-wife Kelly Grayson.
Ed, Kelly, and the crew face dangerous yet hilarious problems overboard may it be personal or work-related issues. It is up to the divorced couple to keep their personal bitterness aside and lead the ship, but things are really not that smooth.
The crew goes through various outer space head spins such as saving their Union technology, saving a pretty but evil lady named Pria Levesque, discovering a brand new planet, Ed and Kelly getting back together, and opening up time capsules.
Season 3 of the Sci-fi comedy will pick up from season 2 finale, where the crew faces a disastrous fallout due to wrong decisions.
The release date of Orville Season 3
Filming for the new season began in October 2019 but it came to a halt during March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Filming is set to continue in December 2020 and no official release date has been announced yet.
