The drama series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel premiered on Amazon Prime in 2017 and it’s fanbase grew with three successful seasons. The third season was released in 2019 and the fourth was scheduled to be released in 2020 as the shooting had already started in the month of February. But unfortunately, the shooting had to be halted due to the current pandemic situation which postponed the release date to the end of 2021. According to sources, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 shooting will resume on 7th January, 2021.
This American sitcom is about the life of Miriam Midge Maisel, the protagonist whose husband Joel leaves her for another woman after 4 years of marriage. The show mainly concentrates on how Mrs. Maisel emotionally heals herself from a broken marriage and moves on in her life with a passion to be a stand-up comedian.
In the previous seasons we have seen Midge attempting to move on and date Benjamin but the relationship ended on a sour note with their engagement getting broken. Her divorce with Joel got finalised but still she ended up spending a night with him.
Hence, the audience can anticipate a lot of dramas and twists in the upcoming season 4. We are expecting to see Maisel growing professionally as a comedian and achieving her dreams. Maisel’s modification to adapt to the changing life-style after attaining fame is what everyone is looking forward to. It would also be interesting to see if she would consider going back to Joel as it’s quite evident that he wants a reconciliation with her.
And as for the cast there might be some new faces though it is expected that the majority of the cast will return for season 4 including Rachel brosnahan, Alex Borstein, Tony Shalhoub, Caroline Aaron, Marin Hinkle, Michael Zegen, Kevin Pollack, Luke Kirby and Jane Lynch.
So, all the fans need to wait patiently for the upcoming season which is surely going to be worth the wait.
